If you're downtown Timaru this place does a unbelievably fantastic coffee!  The food is sensational too, with a focus on wholesome local ingredients.  We can vouch for the gluten-free Roast Vegetable and Muffins, the refined sugar-free Peppermint Slice, and any of the lunch options, especially if they come with their fries. Delicious.

Anywhere on the Bay Hill, Timaru

Head up to the Bay Hill, order coffee and enjoy the view over Caroline Bay.  Alternatively, grab a takeaway coffee, cross over the road and wander around the bay area.  The Bay Hill is home to a row of yummy eateries, with spectacular views and street dining options.

Arthur St Kitchen, 8 Arthur Street, Timaru

Located on Arthur Street, this cafe is a great central option. You'll find them open seven days from 7am to 5pm during weekdays and 9am to 3pm on the weekends. A great place for coffee (and a hot, fresh scone straight out of the oven) - and a great place to start your day.

The Running Duck, 1 Peel Street, Geraldine
