Go canyoning

Canyoning is the ultimate adventure activity, full of fun and exciting personal challenges.  We follow the streamway down into a narrow, beautiful steep walled canyon.  There’s a variety of different sized cliff jumps and smooth natural waterslides.  When it is too shallow below the waterfalls, we will abseil/rappel or fly through the air on a zipline into the pool below.

Big Rock Adventures offers a half day exciting tour from Christchurch or a full day (5 hours canyoning) adventure from Geraldine with a pick up from Timaru available.  This tour includes a 4wd drive up through private farmland to the water's edge, snacks and an edited highlights souvenir movie. Canyoning while in New Zealand is a must do!
